Shelly is an Intake Specialist. A proud native of West Virginia, she embarked on her journey with us driven by a personal quest: to uncover the mystery of her adopted husband’s biological parents. Inspired by the organization’s incredible support during her own search, Shelly felt compelled to pay it forward and help others in their pursuit of truth.
With over 30 years of experience as a stenographic court reporter, Shelly’s attention to detail is impeccable—though her love for true crime TV shows might suggest a hidden detective spirit!
Outside of work, Shelly’s world revolves around her family: her daughter, two small grandsons, and a close-knit circle of relatives who live just a hop, skip, and jump away. And let’s not forget Luna, her spunky Boston Terrier; and Bailey, her cuddly Malshipoo, who add endless joy to her life.
In her downtime, Shelly enjoys getting crafty, solving crossword puzzles, and attempting to cultivate her own green thumb (though she admits her mom might have a slight edge there!)
