In every organization, there are those unsung heroes who quietly dedicate their time and energy to make a significant impact. At DNAngels, we are fortunate to have an exceptional team of volunteers, and it’s time to shine a spotlight on the outstanding contributions of our Volunteers of the Month for November.

Katharine Saunders – An Exceptional Leader
Katharine Saunders is not a newcomer to the title of Volunteer of the Month; she’s earned this honor for the second time, and with good reason. Team Lead Ashlee Krump lauds Katharine’s exceptional work in taking on the responsibility of a new team, devoting countless hours to prepare cases, set policies, and create operating procedures. Her dedication is evident in her willingness to work with new team members during training, showcasing her all-around excellence.
Executive Director and Founder of DNAngels Laura Olmsted recognized Katharine’s remarkable leadership in a long-term project. Katharine volunteered from the outset and, as the project gained momentum, asked to lead it full time. Her proactive approach, willingness to guide, and dedication to the project’s success made it an easy decision to entrust her with the responsibility.
Katharine’s growth and impact within DNAngels have been truly impressive, and we’re thrilled to see her thrive in her role. Her leadership and dedication to our mission are invaluable to the organization.
The tireless dedication and enthusiasm of Jessica Helms and Katharine Saunders are testaments to the spirit of volunteerism and community that drive DNAngels.
