David Vargas is a Search Angel and Mexican Records Specialist. Born in Tennessee and raised in California, he discovered his passion for genealogy in 1998 when his wife was pregnant with their son. His interest in DNA’s role in genealogy began after uncovering several previously unknown cousins, sparking a lifelong dedication to solving genetic mysteries. Over time, he has helped family and friends navigate their own DNA discoveries. Inspired by the impactful work of DNAngels, he is thrilled to contribute his expertise to their mission.
