DNAngels Volunteer of the Month – November 2024: Amy Elizabeth

For November, DNAngels proudly recognizes Amy Elizabeth as Volunteer of the Month! Amy has been a cornerstone of our organization, wearing multiple hats and embodying the spirit of selflessness and dedication that defines our mission.

Amy has been with DNAngels for several years, serving as a volunteer genetic genealogist and holding multiple leadership roles within the organization. She is the Assistant Team Lead for our Research Assistant Team, where her expertise and guidance have been invaluable in solving challenging cases. Beyond research, Amy shines as a leader on the Digital Media Team, crafting content and editing videos for DNAngels’ YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok platforms. Additionally, she volunteers on the Phone Tree Team, personally returning calls from those seeking our services and offering hope to clients in need.

Laura Olmsted, Founder and Executive Director of DNAngels, shared her appreciation for Amy’s tireless contributions:
“We could not produce our social media content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok without the endless hours of video editing and idea creation that comes from Amy. I am grateful each and every day for her spirit of volunteerism.”

Amy’s multifaceted role highlights her commitment to the DNAngels mission, whether she’s helping reunite families, creating impactful digital content, or offering a compassionate voice on the phone. Her dedication inspires everyone around her, and her work ensures that DNAngels continues to grow and reach those who need us the most.

Thank you, Amy Elizabeth, for your unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions to DNAngels. We are so fortunate to have you on our team!
