At DNAngels, we understand the importance of connecting with biological family members, especially for individuals who are adopted, donor-conceived, or are navigating non-paternal events (NPEs). To facilitate these meaningful connections, we are thrilled to introduce our Liaison Services.
Our Liaison Services entail acting as a dedicated intermediary on behalf of our clients. We initiate initial contact with identified biological family members through either telephone conversations or certified mail. We explain the genetic connection between the client and the individual being contacted with utmost professionalism and sensitivity. Our goal is to ascertain whether the person we reach out to is interested in establishing a connection with our client.
Service Description:
- Professional Representation: Our experienced team acts as a professional liaison, representing the client during the initial contact with biological family members. We approach these conversations with empathy, respect, and discretion.
- Initiating Contact: Using either telephone conversations or certified mail, we reach out to the identified biological family member on behalf of our client. We introduce the genetic connection, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Sensitive Approach: We understand the emotional nature of these conversations. Our team is trained to navigate potentially delicate situations, respecting the privacy and boundaries of all parties involved.
- Clarifying Preferences: During the initial contact, we respectfully inquire whether the person being contacted would like to establish a connection with our client. We serve as a bridge to initiate a dialogue that can lead to meaningful relationships.
Service Fee:
The fee for our Liaison Services is $125 for the initial contact. This fee covers professional representation, initiating contact, and facilitating the conversation. Please note that additional fees may be required if the liaison service extends beyond the initially anticipated timeframe. Our team will discuss any additional fees with the client, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
