Kathy is a Research Assistant. She has called San Diego home for over 60 years. With an undergraduate degree in IT and an MBA, she spent over 20 years in Finance. Recently retired, she’s diving even deeper into her passion for genealogy. She’s the Treasurer for the San Diego Genealogy Society and is absolutely thrilled to volunteer as a Researcher with DNAngels. Years ago, Kathy was surprised to learn her grandmother was adopted. She was able to find her grandmother’s biological mother using the Leeds method and many painstaking hours. Her roots span New England, Maryland, and Colorado, with Scottish/Irish and Polish ancestry. In her free time, Kathy enjoys crafting, calligraphy, hiking, and keeping up with her two sons and grandkids.
