Yevette Cress

Yevette is a Research Assistant who lives in Indiana and has worked in health care for over 20 years. Outside of work and genealogy, she loves spending time with her family, working on their hobby farm, and being out in nature.

Specific to her role at DNAngels, Yevette has always loved history and genealogy—even before she knew the term. Some of her favorite childhood memories involve accompanying her great-grandmother to visit family cemeteries and listening to stories about her ancestors. From there, she began working on her personal family history. After adding DNA testing to her skillset and uncovering several family secrets, her passion for genetic genealogy was ignited. She has since helped friends and family in their own quests. Yevette completed the Genealogical Principles Program at Boston University in 2021 and has attended numerous genetic genealogy conferences, seminars, and programs over the past decade. She appreciates the opportunity to work with DNAngels to help others in their search for their biological truth.
