Tess is a Search Angel. Tess fell in love with genealogy when as a teen she would go through her step-grandmother’s genealogy research. After her grandmother passed away, she felt honored to be given her grandmother’s work/research on the family.
As her fascination with DNA and genealogy grew, Tess came across opportunities to help friends and family find answers to their own genealogy questions.
Wanting to take her genealogy skills to the next level, Tess took a course through Boston University and received a Certificate of Genealogical Research in the fall of 2022. She is also on the board of directors of her local genealogical society in California.
Tess has two children and as the youngest headed off to college she realized she had more time on her hands and joined DNAngels in 2023. Outside of genealogy, Tess loves travel, photography, ghost hunting, old cemeteries & houses, and reading.
Tess feels a lot of compassion towards everyone involved in our DNAngels cases and is grateful to be able to use something she loves to help clients find their truth.
