Cindy is a Search Angel and Executive Administrator. Her interest in genealogy began more than three decades ago when she embarked on tracing her own family lineage. Adopting traditional methods, she diligently explored her ancestry by frequenting libraries, soliciting documents through mail, and meticulously jotting down notes.
In more recent times, Cindy delved into the realm of genetic genealogy with fervor. Her involvement in reuniting her adopted niece with her birth family, including identifying her biological father, marked a pivotal moment. The experience of aiding her niece in discovering her biological truth ignited a profound passion within Cindy to extend her assistance to others traversing similar paths.
Beyond her genealogical pursuits, Cindy assumes the role of a Sales Administrator for a technology company during the day. Nestled on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas, she shares her home with her husband and two canine companions. Her family is a beautifully blended tapestry, encompassing four grown children and three cherished grandchildren. The title of “Nana” holds a special place in her heart as she relishes witnessing her adored grandbabies blossom and creating cherished memories alongside them. Exploring the globe with her husband ranks among her treasured pastimes, with destinations like the Azores, Portugal, and Paris, France, etching themselves into her fondest reminiscences.
When Cindy is not spending time with family she enjoys reading, crafting projects, and triumphantly piecing together intricate jigsaw puzzles. She is a member of the International Society of Genetic Genealogy (ISOGG), and she continually aspires to elevate her knowledge and capabilities as a search angel.
