Linda Grinnell is a Search Angel. She has been a genealogist since she was in her twenties and well before the advent of DNA testing. Since she had already helped a number of friends and relatives identify their birth parents, volunteering for DNAngels was a natural progression. She began in the research department and from there began training as an intake specialist and also as an apprentice search angel. Helping clients identify their birth parents has been extremely rewarding for Linda and she hopes she can do this for many years to come.
Linda and her husband live in sunny South Texas where the summers can be brutal but the winters are glorious. She and her husband have had a homeless ministry for the last 2 1/2 years in which they distribute lunches once a week as well as clothing and blankets. Linda’s third volunteer job is a a librarian in her community library.
