Heidi Billingsley Keuper
This month’s first Volunteer of the Month is Heidi Billingsley Keuper! Heidi has bee a volunteer with DNAngels for 2 years this September! She is currently a case manager, assistant HR person, and someone who always has a sympathetic ear. Since day one, our Heidi Boo has been impressing and charming people with her skills and her Southern “Je ne sais quoi”. Jennifer Scweibinz says, “Working with Heidi is always a positive experience! When cases were slow, she jumped on one of mine with me and before I knew it, our adrenaline was up and we were seamlessly slipping into an efficient divide and conquer approach. She is a talented Search Angel, and she loves sharing her tips and tricks with others. Meeting Heidi in person only made me love her more!”
Research Team Lead Ashlee Krump says, “Heidi was so incredibly helpful to me as a new angel. She was very patient, explained things well, did not act annoyed at my millions of follow up questions, and was happy to give me extra experience or help when I asked. Heidi will always be a very special member of DNAngels to me.” Heidi’s sister, Cindy Billingsley said “As Heidi’s sister, I’ve witnessed her truly finding her calling as a genetic genealogist. With her exceptional abilities and unwavering passion, she has proven to be one of the best! Heidi possesses a unique talent for establishing deep connections with each of her clients, offering them comfort and encouragement. She excels as a dedicated Case Manager, consistently extending her helping hand and uplifting other angels; while also managing our caseload with her fellow Case Manager Rachel. Her contributions also extend behind the scenes, encompassing tasks like documenting donations, composing weekly Facebook donation updates, and special projects. Heidi inspires me to become a better angel, an empathetic listener, and a better human being. Witnessing her contributions to the organization fills me with immense pride, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to call her my sister.”
Intake Team Lead Tammy Ramos says, “I love my Heidi boo! She is always uplifting and encouraging. Willing to answer my questions. Heidi is a great leader in that she wants to see others succeed as well as DNAngels succeed as a whole.”
Heidi is a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren call her “Honey” because she is just that sweet. Don’t be fooled, she also has a wicked sense of humor. Besides helping people find their truth, she loves to spend time at the shore with her husband and family. Heidi is a generous soul who gives of her time. Her favorite quote which sums her up perfectly is “Blessed people, bless people.”

This months second volunteer of the month is Kelly Grace.
